Agglomerator for plastics, compactor

An agglomerator is a machine used in the plastic recycling process to agglomerate plastic scrap such as wet or dry recycling PP, PE, HDEP, BOPP, HDPE plastic film, woven bags, and more. It is a cylinder with five to nine stationary and two rotating blades at the bottom which create friction and heat. The machine can quickly granulate used thermoplastic film or the like, and then produce high-density material suitable for plastic recycling. The agglomerator is also known as a densifier or compactor machine. In a pot-type agglomerator, the waste is placed into a pot where knives are rotated at very high speed.
