Dedusting cyclone

A dedusting cyclone is a device used in industrial environments for the separation of solid particles from contaminated gas streams. It is a type of auxiliary equipment for dust collection and is intended for use as a pre-cleaner with other gas and particle cleaning devices. Here is how a cyclone dust collector works:

The air/dust entering the cyclone from a hose connected to a dust producing tool is forced into a circular path, circulating at thousands of rpm.

This creates a centrifugal force that forces any heavier than air particles to the outside wall.

Gravity causes the dust and debris to spiral down until it eventually lands in the collection bin.
